Sameer Africa Ltd warranty covers all TYRES bearing Yana, Bridgestone or Firestone brand names and serial numbers to the purchaser in Kenya, for the LIFE OF ORIGINAL TREAD without limit as to distance covered, against all defects in material and workmanship under NORMAL USE and SERVICE.

TUBES AND FLAPS

Sameer Africa Ltd warranty covers all TUBES and FLAPS bearing Yana, Bridgestone or Firestone brand names to the purchaser in Kenya, without limit as to distance covered, against all defects in material and workmanship under NORMAL USE and SERVICE. Our liability is limited to replacing a TYRE, TUBE or FLAP, as outlined above, and does not cover any consequential losses to persons or property as a result of any failure in any Tyre, Tube or Flap from any manufacturing defect.
The warranty is exclusively for the benefit of the original owner of any Yana, Bridgestone or Firestone TYRES, TUBES or FLAPS and is not assignable. NO claim will be recognized unless submitted on Yana/Firestone/Bridgestone standard CLAIM FORM, and signed by such owner.

CLAIMS PROCEDURE

Our liability is limited to replacing a TYRE, TUBE or FLAP, as outlined above, and does not cover any consequential losses to persons or property as a result of any failure in any Tyre, Tube or Flap from any manufacturing defect.The warranty is exclusively for the benefit of the original owner of any Yana, Bridgestone or Firestone TYRES, TUBES or FLAPS and is not assignable. 1. Should any Yana, Bridgestone of Firestone Tyre, Tube or Flap fail, your nearest Sameer Africa Ltd representative, distributor, dealer or branch office is to be contacted immediately.
2. The Sameer Africa Ltd claim form is to be completed in full and signed by the owner of the claimed Tyre, Tube or Flap.
3. The product submitted for claim will require to be inspected by any Sameer Africa Ltd representative or any other person authorised by Sameer Africa Ltd.
4. Any tyre, which qualifies for an adjustment, will be replaced with a new Yana, Bridgestone or Firestone tyre on a pro-rata tread wear basis, charging only for the tread used.  Credits will be based on the current Yana/Bridgestone/Firestone dealer price list plus Value Added Taxes.  Tubes and Flaps will be replaced free of charge.

    Therefore, Dealer pays Kshs. 3,335.15 for the replacement tyre.
   
   
5. After any adjustments, the claimed product becomes the property of Sameer Africa Ltd.
6. All adjustments become null and void three months from the date of verification.  It is the Dealer’s or Customer’s responsibility to confirm the status of the claim with Sameer Africa Ltd.  All enquires should be directed to the Sameer Africa Ltd Field Engineering Department in Nairobi telephone No. 020-530722/530713/559922
7. Non-adjustable claims left on Sameer Africa Ltd premises for more than 30 days from the date of assessment will be destroyed without any further communication/correspondence entered into with the dealer and / or customer

1. Tyres that are worn-down beyond the minimum allowable original tread depth limits; per the Yana/Bridgestone/Firestone tyres adjustment wear charts.
2. Tyres which are older than 4 years from date of manufacture.
3. Tyres, tubes or flaps damaged as a result of improper use, fitment, storage or any other cause whatsoever for which the Tyre, Tube or flap was not specifically manufactured.
4. Tyres and tubes that have been repaired, retreaded or regrooved.
5. Damage arising from; misalignment, wheel imbalance, defective brakes and / or shock absorbers, incorrect inflation, pressures, overloading, oil or chemical contamination, use of tyre chains, use for racing or other competitive events, vehicles accidents and / or collisions, wilful damage or abuse, running flat, fire, vandalism, riots or any other unlawful acts.
6. Damage from any road hazards.  Road hazards may be defined as any broken glass, kerbs, rocks, potholes or any other genuine road hazards which may affect the performance and /or life of the tyre, tube or flap.
